The Jaeger Foundation

The Jaeger Foundation received lots in the Riverview
neighborhood for redevelopment through the City of New Orleans
Adjudicated Properties Program.  The goal of the Jaeger Foundation and
its affiliate, the Algiers Redevelopment Foundation (“Foundation”), together with
the assistance from late Reverend Arthur Wardsworth, The First Responder’s Fund,
The Algiers Riverview Association, and Old Algiers Main Street is to provide high quality,
sustainable and affordable homes to Pre-Katrina Gulf Coast residents with a desire to rebuild
within the Algiers Riverview Community.

We will develop and sell homes on these lots to low and moderate income home buyers in need of funding assistance to obtain home ownership. The targeted homebuyers are displaced residents of the neighborhood with a desire to return, first responders, educators, referrals, artists/musicians and cultural workers, as well as other contributing members of society meeting the minimum qualification guidelines.
